Criminal Mischief

1399 Upper Shelbyville Road, Needham Elementary: Reported at 10:50 a.m. Sunday that a rock had been thrown by an unknown individual through the glass pane of one of the exterior doors.

2000 block of Jim Black Road: A man reported at 9:49 a.m. Saturday that two port-a-potties had been damaged on the premises.

Fraud

900 block of Harbon Drive: A man reported at 3:19 p.m. Sunday that he had been trying to rent a property on Harbon Drive that he found on Facebook Marketplace, he made contact with a man he thought was renting it and after sending over $2,000 to the man he found out it was a scam.

3000 block of Andover Court: Reported at 9:31 a.m. Sunday that damage to a basketball goal had occurred.

Narcotics

W. County Line Road and N. Madison Ave.: Reported at 12:24 p.m. Saturday that a person was issued a summons to appear for possession of marijuana and a summons for possession of paraphernalia.

Thefts

860 U.S. 31 S., Rural King: Reported at 7:55 p.m. Saturday that a theft had occurred.

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 7:49 p.m. Saturday that a man was issued a summons to appear for the crimes of theft and possession of paraphernalia and another man was arrested on a active Johnson County warrant.

1251 U.S. 31 N., Von Maur: Reported at 4 p.m. Saturday that shoplifting involving juveniles had occurred.

1117 E. Main St., Red Carpet Inn: Reported at 4:59 p.m. Friday that a Johnson County transformer located on the property was cut open and the copper wires removed.

750 U.S. 31 N., Tom O’Brien Chrysler: Reported at 11:43 a.m. Friday the theft of a vehicle had occurred.
