One person is in custody following a report of shots fired at a Greenwood park.
Police were called to Northwest Park on the city’s west side at approximately 4 p.m. Friday on a report of shots fired. No persons were shot during the incident, said Matt Fillenwarth, assistant chief of police.
The suspect in the shooting initially fled the scene, however, he later returned and turned himself in to the police, Fillenwarth said.
There is no threat to the public at this time, he said.
