FRANKLIN
Robert Samuel Murphy, 84 of Franklin, passed away on September 29, 2023.
He was born on February 15, 1939 in Scottsburg, Indiana to Robert Franklin and Lillian (Wells) Murphy. Bob is survived by son, Tim Murphy; adopted sons, Kevin Murphy and Rex Murphy and granddaughter, Savanna Murphy. He was preceded in passing by his parents; wife, Etta Jane Murphy and second wife, Karen Murphy Cooley.
Bob attended school in Scottsburg and attended Hanover College.
He was a Tool Draft Designer at Delta Faucett for many years. He also owned and operated Bob’s Locksmith in Franklin for several years.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bluff Creek Christian Church, 6286 State Road 144, Greenwood, Indiana. Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin is assisting the family with arrangements.
