Donate coats for Operation Bundle-Up by Friday

The United Way of Johnson County is asking for the community’s help in making sure children throughout the county keep warm this winter.

Organizers are collecting new or gently used winter coats and new hats, gloves, mittens and scarves for Operation Bundle-Up, an annual distribution event for families in need. People can drop off items through Friday at any of the following sites:

  • Firefly Children & Family Alliance, 520 Tracy Road Suite 160, New Whiteland
  • First Merchants Bank, all Johnson County branches
  • Franklin City Hall, 71 E. Court St.
  • Franklin Cultural Arts and Recreation Center, 396 Branigin Blvd.
  • Grace United Methodist Church, 1300 E. Adams St., Franklin
  • Horizon Bank, all Johnson County branches
  • Johnson County Recycling District, 900 Arvin St., Franklin
  • Milto Cleaners locations
  • Mutual Savings Bank, all Johnson County branches
