Over the course of two weekends, Creative Grounds Fine Arts Academy will transport audiences from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s in this inventive and emotional musical. The story follows Anya, a brave young woman who sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, she enlists the aid of a dashing con man and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love and family. Tickets are $10 general admission, $8 for students.

PET ELVES BENEFIT CONCERT, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Nov. 14, Elks Lodge No. 1818, 56 E. Jefferson St., Franklin

Venerated Franklin-based rocker Frank Dean is turning 70 this year, and in celebration, he’s hosting a concert bash to raise money for animals in need. Dean will be joined by performers John Gilmore, Sister Sinjin, Sharianne Whetstine, Hammer & Hatchet, Les Tabeling, Lily Clark, Dakota Skiles, Rural Soul, and a special appearance by SINDACATO. Together, they’ll take the stage to raise money for Pet Elves Adoption Center.
