The Town of Bargersville is seeking residents to fill board and commission seats for 2024.
The form can be found on the town website . A physical copy of the application can also be obtained at the town hall, 24 N. Main St., during business hours Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
To be considered for a position residents must apply by 4:30 p.m. Dec. 1. The completed form should be emailed to [email protected].
The following boards are open to applicants:
Board of Zoning Appeals — (two board members, four-year term) Qualified applicants must be a Bargersville resident and one of the board positions must be a member of the Bargersville Plan Commission.
Plan Commission — (one board member, four-year term) Qualified applicants must list their political party; and be a resident of Bargersville or an owner of real property located in an area of Bargersville.
Parks and Recreation Board — (one board member, four-year term) Qualified applicants must be a Bargersville resident.
Redevelopment Authority — (three board members, one-year term) Qualified applicants must have knowledge and experience in matters pertaining to redevelopment and related activities in the district and must reside within Bargersville.
Metropolitan Board of Police Commissioners — (one board member, 3-year term) Qualified applicants must have knowledge and experience in matters pertaining to police and related activities in the district and must reside within Bargersville.
Stormwater Board — (one board member, four-year term) Qualified applicants must have knowledge and experience in matters pertaining to stormwater and related activities in the district and must reside within Bargersville.
Economic Development Commission — (three board members, one-year term) Qualified applicants must have knowledge and experience in matters pertaining to economic development and related activities in the district and must reside within Bargersville.
Riverfront District Board – (two board members, one-year term) Qualified applicants must have knowledge and experience in matters pertaining to the riverfront district and related activities in the district and must reside within Bargersville.
