Thefts

2125 N. Morton St., Walmart: Asset protection employee reported at 3:54 p.m. Thursday that a woman had not scanned multiple items, them placed them in her shopping cart and tried to leave the store, she was issued a summons for theft and trespassed from the store.

2125 N. Morton St., Walmart: Asset protection employee reported at 1:51 p.m. Thursday that two women were caught shoplifting items totaling over $350, one woman was issued a summons for theft and released from the scene, the other woman was arrested on theft with prior conviction and transported to the Johnson County jail, the women were also trespassed from the store.

Fraud

1133 N. Emerson Ave.: A woman reported at 1:23 p.m. Thursday that she discovered fraudulent charges on her credit card, which occurred at several locations in Greenwood, totaling over $1,000.

Hit and Run

Pleasant Lane and S. Madison Ave.: Reported at 6:52 a.m. Friday that a hit and run had occurred.

2900 block of Branch St.: Reported at 4:22 p.m. Thursday that a hit and run had occurred.

1251 U.S. 31 N., Cheesecake Factory: Reported at 2:32 p.m. Thursday that a hit and run had occurred in the parking lot.

W. Smokey Row Road and N. County Road 200 W.: Reported at 8:08 a.m. Thursday that a hit and run had occurred.

Personal-injury accident

5:52 p.m. Tuesday – Fry Road and Kings Mill Road. Rachel Lockel, 19, Greenwood. Lockel reported having pain and injury to her entire body. Leslie Sherry, 67, Greenwood. Sherry reported having pain and injury to her chest.

7:13 a.m. Thursday – S. Madison Ave. and Smith Valley Road

5:51 a.m. Wednesday – W. Stones Crossing Road and Galena Drive

5:35 p.m. Tuesday – U.S. 31 and Stop 18

7:11 p.m. Monday – Independence Drive and E. Providence Drive

6:38 p.m. Monday – U.S. 31 and Pushville Road

12:24 a.m. Monday – Metairie Drive and Nicole Drive

Thefts

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 4:46 p.m. Thursday that a theft had occurred.

300 block of Love Ave.: Reported at 8:57 a.m. Thursday the theft of a firearm from an unlocked vehicle had occurred.

Matthew Adam Dearinger, 39, Greenwood; arrested on charges of maintaining a common nuisance-legend drugs, dealing marijuana/hashish/salvia, possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia and possession of controlled substance-schedule I and wanted on a Johnson County warrant; held on $16,500 bond.

Rachael M. Minnix, 35, Greenwood; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; held on $300 bond.

Chad Douglas Jennings, 46, Martinsville; arrested on a charge of contempt; released on $2,000 bond.

Marcos Gustavo Sanchez Jr., 42, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of criminal conversion; held on $1,000 bond.

Sarah Willis, 30, New Castle; arrested on charges of resisting law enforcement using a vehicle, neglect of dependant/child violations, possession of hypodermic syringe or needle, possession of controlled substance-schedule II, III, IV and wanted on an out of county warrant; bond information unavailable.

Jill Kathleen Voorhis, 39, Indianapolis; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; held on $585 bond.

Hayley D. Riley, 33, Indianapolis; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; held without bond.
