Cougars open with road victory
Max Booher scored 24 points to lead Class A No. 5 Greenwood Christian to a 62-45 win at Lebanon in its season opener on Wednesday night. The Cougars also got 11 points from Ben Comerford, 10 from Evan McIntire and nine from Jordan Taulman.

Warriors fall prey to Hawks
Whiteland suffered a 76-37 defeat at Decatur Central on Wednesday. Gwen Higdon led the Warriors (2-4, 0-1 Mid-State) in defeat with 11 points.
