Franklin

Counterfeiting

1063 E. Jefferson St., Long River: Reported at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday that an incident involving juveniles had occurred.

Hit and Run

1000 Spring Meadow Court: A woman reported at 1:22 p.m. Saturday that her child and a juvenile had been sideswiped by a vehicle while on a electric scooter, both received minor injuries and the vehicle never stopped.

3000 block of N. Morton St.: A woman reported at 11:26 p.m. Friday that she saw a vehicle hit a pole near the stoplight at Casey’s and then fled the area. The driver was later located and issued a summons for leaving the scene of an accident and a citation for driving while suspended and violating their learner’s permit restrictions.

Personal-injury accidents

1:21 p.m. Saturday – Yellowstone Way. Juvenile, 15, Franklin, reported having an abrasion to their abdomen/pelvis. Toddler, 3, Franklin, reported having an abrasion to their face.

4:24 a.m. Saturday – Crowell St. and E. Jefferson St. Shannon McClellan, 53, Franklin. McClellan reported having pain and injury to her head.

6:17 p.m. Friday – 2200 block of N. Morton St. near Chili’s Grill and Bar. Thelma Gendron, 70, Whiteland. Gendron reported having pain and injury to her elbow/lower arm.

Thefts

100 block of Oliver Ave.: A man reported at 6:08 p.m. Sunday that a credit card had been stolen out of his vehicle sometime in August and charges had occurred sometime over the holiday.

2125 N. Morton St., Walmart: Asset protection employee reported at 8:05 a.m. Friday that two women did not scan all the items in their cart, valued over $400, the older woman was arrested for theft with prior conviction.

2125 N. Morton St., Walmart: Asset protection employee reported at 10:57 a.m. Wednesday that a woman had hidden items under other items prior to leaving the store. She was issued a criminal trespassing warning and a summons for the charge of theft.

Narcotics

E. County Line Road and N. Meridian St.: Reported at 10:48 p.m. Friday that two people were issued a summons to appear for possession of marijuana.

Thefts

860 U.S. 31 S., Rural King: Reported at 2:20 p.m. Sunday the theft of tools from the store had occurred.

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 8:13 p.m. Saturday that a man was arrested for theft.

520 N. Meridian St., Village Pantry: Reported at 7:03 p.m. Saturday the theft of lottery tickets from the store had occurred.

300 block of Winterset Way: Reported at 3:41 p.m. Saturday the theft from a vehicle had occurred.

2000 block of Springtime Road: Reported at 9:53 a.m. Saturday the theft of a firearm from a vehicle had occurred.

550 Fry Road, Kohl’s: Reported at 7:42 p.m. Friday that a woman was arrested for theft with prior conviction and theft over $750.

1000 block of Barrington Drive: Reported at 6:40 p.m. Friday that a theft had occurred.

Battery

3129 E. Edinburgh St., Atterbury Job Corp., Edinburgh: Reported at 7:08 p.m. Friday that a physical altercation had occurred and both offenders are being kicked out of the program.

Theft

3816 Hospital Road, Himsel Army Airfield, Edinburgh: A man reported at 10:38 a.m. Sunday that his vehicle was broken into while he was hunting near Atterbury Job Corp and several items were stolen including $300.
