There is an oil spill near Clark Pleasant Middle School and Grassy Creek Elementary but officials say there is no danger to the public.

Greenwood Fire Department let school officials know there is no danger to the public or students so students will remain in class until the end of the school day, said Rick Hightower, school spokesperson.
