TRAFALGAR
James T. “Tim” Baird, age 87 went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday evening, November 29, 2023 at Homeview Health & Rehabilitation Center in Franklin. He was a resident of Trafalgar.
Tim was born April 27, 1936 in Indianapolis, to his parents, the late Clyde and Mary E. (Mitchell) Baird. He was a 1954 graduate of Morgantown High School. He retired from LD Mechanical Contractors.
Tim was a member of the Morning Star Church in Trafalgar. He enjoyed raising Arabian Horses, golfing, hunting & fishing. Tim loved spending time with family and traveling with his wife, Noreen in their RV.
Tim is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Noreen Louise (Lory) Baird, whom he married on August 21, 1954 in Indianapolis. Tim is also survived by his children, Tim (Lori) Baird of Trafalgar, Brian (Beth) Baird of Trafalgar, Pastor Brett (Kim) Baird of Trafalgar, Mike (Rhonda) Baird of Trafalgar & Tyler (Amy) Baird of Trafalgar; 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Emma Baird, Rachel Baird, Charles Baird, Anna Mae Jensen, Phillip Baird, John W. Baird, Edith Wardwell & Alfred R. “Bud” Baird.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 5th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Pastor Brett Baird will give a message at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. A private family graveside service will be held at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
