Timothy A. “Tim” Schroeder, age 64 passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, December 12, 2023. He was a resident of Brewton, AL and a former resident of Morgantown.
Tim was born in Indianapolis to his parents, the late Jack and Marge (Fryman) Schroeder on November 12, 1959. He was a 1978 graduate of Indian Creek High School. Tim earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2007 and went to receive his Master’s in Management of Quality Excellence in 2009 from the University of Leicester in London, England. Tim retired in 2010 as a Quality Chief Metrologist for Rolls Royce of North America in Indianapolis.
Tim enjoyed the outdoors by boating, sailing, fishing and target shooting. He also enjoyed working out as a bodybuilder and loved Arnold Schwarzenegger films. Tim loved his family dearly and caring for his dog, Rico.
He is survived by his wife, Stacy (Galindo) Schroeder, whom he married on December 12, 2022 in Alabama. Tim is also survived by his daughters, Tiffany (Rev. Warner) Swopes of Morgantown and Jamie Irwin of Greenwood; siblings, Steve Schroeder of Columbus and Linda (Gordon) Sherrer of Alabama; former wife, Janine Buckman of Mississippi; grandchildren, Ambria, David, Casslyn, Jude, Harper &Iris.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Marge Schroeder.
In keeping with Tim’s wishes, he will be cremated with a celebration of life at a later date. Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation &Personalization Center in Morgantown.
