The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for tips on a gun store robbery that occurred last night near the northwest county line.
A “handful of guns and other items” was stolen from U.S. Defense Solutions in the 5300 block of Mount Pleasant North Street in White River Township, said Duane Burgess, sheriff. The robbery occurred at around 2:13 a.m. Thursday morning.
Deputies are currently investigating the incident and canvassing the nearby neighborhood for any eyewitness accounts and surveillance footage from the period of 1:30 a.m. and 3 a.m., Burgess said.
