Fraud
2000 block of Woodfield Blvd.: A woman reported at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday that her son was a victim of a scam, her son explained that he received a phone call from what he thought was an IMPD detective stating he was investigating him for possibly sending inappropriate pictures to a minor and the only way to make it go away was to send money to the minors parents, after he sent money the caller started threatening him and he realized it was a scam.
Theft
2625 N. Morton St., KYB Manufacturing: Reported at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday that an employee had stolen items and was causing a disturbance. Once police arrived the man began running from police and after a chase the man was caught and arrested for stealing tools from the company, resisting law enforcement and active warrants.

W. County Line Road and N. Madison Ave.: Reported at 1:42 a.m. Thursday that someone was arrested and released on a summons to appear for possession of marijuana.
Thefts
444 N. Emerson Ave., Red Dot Storage: Reported at 3:39 p.m. Wednesday that a theft had occurred.
1000 block of Westminster Row: Reported at 9:24 a.m. Wednesday that a theft had occurred.
1000 block of Elmwood Lane: Reported at 8:04 a.m. Wednesday that a theft had occurred.
