As 2024 begins, local residents are invited to strengthen their relationship with God through prayer during an upcoming event.
The Warriors Arise Gathering will be held at 7 p.m. Jan. 12 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 13 at Dye’s Walk Country Club, 2080 S. SR 135, Greenwood. The event will feature speakers Janet Douglas and Derick Thomas, with a worship service and preparation on Friday night and the main event throughout the day on Saturday.
“This is a gather of those who want to learn strategic prayer — to go higher and deeper in prayer,” said Terry Mashino, host of the event.
Douglas is an apostolic international conference speaker with a passion for training people in prayer in order to bring transformation to the individuals, families, cities, states, regions, and nations, according to her website. Thomas is an apostolic prophetic psalmist who will lead worship.
