Franklin

Battery

2 Caisson Drive, Franklin Action Skate Park: Reported at 9:44 p.m. Sunday that a battery had occurred.

Hit and Run

480 N. Morton St., parking lot: A woman reported at 4:17 p.m. Friday that a green vehicle struck her vehicle and then continued driving northbound and did not stop.

E. State Road 44 and W. Jefferson St.: A woman reported at 8:01 a.m. Friday that as she was changing lanes a Jeep traveling at a high rate of speed passed her which caused her to strike the rear driver’s side bumper with her vehicle and the Jeep never stopped.

Narcotics

1579 N. Morton St., parking lot: A officer reported at 12:47 p.m. Saturday that during a traffic stop for an inactive status on a license plate, the officer searched the vehicle and found narcotics. The passenger was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia, the driver was issued a summons for paraphernalia and released from the scene.

Theft

2125 N. Morton St., Walmart: A loss prevention officer reported at 11:42 a.m. Sunday that a woman has been caught skip scanning items and then left the store without paying for other items in her cart, she was issued a summons for theft and issued a trespass warning for Walmart.

1101 Windhorst Way, Sam’s Club: Reported at 5:06 p.m. Saturday that a criminal mischief had occurred.

Fraud

700 block of Park Ave.: Reported at 12:10 p.m. Saturday that a fraud had occurred.

Narcotics

1274 U.S. 31 N., Olive Garden: Reported at 11:51 p.m. Saturday that a man was issued a summons for the possession of marijuana.

1251 U.S. 31 N., Barnes and Noble: Reported at 10:31 p.m. Friday that someone was summons arrested for possession of marijuana and one juvenile was summons arrested for possession of marijuana.

Personal-injury accidents

7:12 p.m. Thursday – Worthsville Road and Averitt Road. Pal Arvinder, 31, Indianapolis. Arvinder reported having pain and injury to her abdomen/pelvis.

4:43 p.m. Thursday – Worthsville Road and County Road 200 E. Ruby Temple, 57, Whiteland. Temple reported having pain and injury to her shoulder/upper arm.

2:09 p.m. Thursday – County Line Road and Wheatcraft Way. Joanie Ortman, 62, Indianapolis. Ortman reported having pain and injury to her entire body. Emily Willis, 64, Indianapolis. Willis reported having pain and injury to her chest.

12:15 p.m. Thursday – State Road 135 and County Line Road. Tracy Hale, 61, Indianapolis. Hale reported having pain and injury to her neck.

Thefts

1251 U.S. 31 N., Greenwood Park Mall: Reported at 7:10 p.m. Sunday that a theft had occurred.

1251 U.S. 31 N., JC Penney: Reported at 5:42 p.m. Sunday that a man was arrested for theft with prior conviction and a woman was issued a summons for theft.

900 N. Emerson Ave., Goodwill Outlet: Reported at 12:12 p.m. Sunday that a theft had occurred.

1000 block of Stonehedge Drive E.: Reported at 10:35 a.m. Friday the theft from a vehicle had occurred.

Johnson County

Narcotics

N. State Road 135 and W. Pearl St., Trafalgar: A officer reported at 6:46 p.m. Saturday that during a traffic stop for a false and fictitious license plate and detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle a black bottle with marijuana inside it was found and a THC vape pen and cartridge was also found. The driver was issued a criminal summons for marijuana and a warning for the false and fictitious license plate.

Russell Lane and S. Morgantown Road, Greenwood: A officer reported at 6:34 p.m. Friday that during a traffic stop he could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the inside the vehicle. After a search marijuana buds were found and the driver was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and warnings for the infractions the officer observed.

Theft

5351 U.S. 31 S., Hilltop Motel, Franklin: A woman reported at 10:08 p.m. Saturday that while she was out running errands, her medication went missing from her room.
