Franklin

Personal-injury accidents

7:15 a.m. Monday – N. Morton St. and Banta St. Nola Denning, 18, Franklin. Denning reported having pain and injury to her head. Juvenile, 15, Franklin, reported having pain and injury to their head.

7:11 a.m. Saturday – N. Morton St. and Commerce Parkway. Skylar Naville, 21, Franklin. Naville reported having pain and injury to her hip/upper leg.

Property-damage accidents

6 a.m. Monday – Graham St. and Circle Drive

6:04 p.m. Sunday – U.S. 31 and N. Main St.

4:24 p.m. Saturday – Lancer Drive and Eastpointe Drive

Thefts

100 block of E. Madison St.: A man reported at 8:24 p.m. Saturday that he received a delivery notification from Amazon about a package being delivered and when he arrived home there was no package.

2125 N. Morton St., Walmart: Loss prevention associate reported at 2:47 p.m. Friday that two women were skip scanning items and putting them into their shopping bags. One woman admitted she likes doing things that get her adrenaline going, they were both issued a summons for theft and trespassed from the store.

2125 N. Morton St., Walmart: Loss prevention associate reported at 9:26 p.m. Friday that a woman had put several items in a book bag and skip scanned other items, totaling over $330 and tried to leave the store. Once police arrived, she admitted to taking the items and was issued a summons to appear for theft.

Burglary

444 N. Emerson Ave., Red Dot Storage: Reported at 1:43 p.m. Friday that a burglary and criminal mischief had occurred.

Fraud

562 Fry Road, Best Buy: Reported at 5:53 p.m. Saturday that a fraud had occurred.

625 S. State Road 135, Smoothie King: Reported at 10:06 a.m. Saturday that a fraud had occurred.

Narcotics

Apryl Drive and Kenwood Drive: Reported at 1:43 a.m. Sunday that two juveniles were arrested for possession of narcotics, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and dangerous possession of a firearm by a minor.

Thefts

895 S. State Road 135, Target: Reported at 12:11 p.m. Sunday that a man was issued a summons for theft.

1000 block of Paradise Way: Reported at 8:29 a.m. Sunday that a theft had occurred.

300 Marlin Drive, Menard’s: Reported at 6:31 p.m. Saturday that a theft from the store had occurred.

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 4:36 p.m. Saturday that a shoplifting had occurred.

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 4:06 p.m. Saturday that a shoplifting had occurred.

1000 block of Corban St.: Reported at 12:01 p.m. Saturday that a theft had occurred.

Johnson County

Battery

2600 Cumberland Drive, Franklin High School, Franklin: Reported at 8:17 a.m. Friday that a 14 year old juvenile assaulted another juvenile causing injury.

Criminal Mischief

600 block of Fairlane Drive, Edinburgh: Reported at 10:44 p.m. Friday that criminal mischief had occurred.

Narcotics

704 S. State Road 135, Greenwood: A deputy reported at 11:48 p.m. Saturday that he located a vehicle at a closed business and after approaching a juvenile he detected the odor of marijuana. The deputy detained the juvenile and two packages of marijuana were located on the juvenile and they were issued a summons for possession of marijuana.

S. State Road 135 and W. Smith Valley Road, Greenwood: A deputy reported at 11:13 p.m. Friday that during a traffic stop for expired license plate she detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver admitted to smoking marijuana earlier, after a search of the vehicle a pipe was found and the driver was issued a summons for possession of paraphernalia.

Residential Entry

2000 block of S. Old U.S. 31, Franklin: Reported at 6:18 a.m. Monday that a residential entry had occurred.

Theft

W. County Line Road and N. State Road 135, Greenwood: A officer reported at 1:43 a.m. Monday that while patrolling the area he located a vehicle sitting in front of the Salvation Army Store. The officer approached the driver and found that the driver had taken two items from the donation area, the driver was issued a summons for theft and released from the scene.
