Swimming and diving opens HCAC meet
Franklin College got the first day of the HCAC Swimming & Diving Championship off to a good start Wednesday, with the 800-yard freestyle relay team of Caileigh McCafferty, Celeste Hollis, Petal Sloan and Samantha Phillips comfortably taking first place with a time of 7:38.35.
The Grizzly men’s 800 free relay team finished second, as did diver Cameron Baker in the men’s 3-meter finals. The meet, which is being held in Terre Haute, will continue through Saturday.
