Franklin

Theft

Westview Drive and Cumberland Drive: A man reported at 5:39 p.m. Monday that a couple of chainsaws and several other tools had been stolen from his unlocked vehicle on his property. The vehicle also had damage done to the steering column and ignition.

Greenwood

Hit and Run

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 3:30 p.m. Monday that a hit and run had occurred in the parking lot.

Identity Theft

600 block of Carol Drive: Reported at 3:52 p.m. that an identity theft had occurred.

Narcotics

W. Main St. and S. State Road 135: A officer reported at 11:45 p.m. Monday that they seized suspected narcotics during a traffic stop and booked them into evidence to be destroyed.

E. County Line Road and N. Meridian St.: Reported at 7:32 p.m. Monday a man was arrested for possession of a narcotic drug and another person was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and a summons for possession of paraphernalia.

Personal-injury accidents

3:04 p.m. Saturday – County Line Road and N. Emerson Ave. A infant was reported to have injuries.

4:57 p.m. Friday – State Road 135 and Smith Valley Road. Cathy Troutt, 67, Franklin. Troutt reported having pain and injury to her back.

3:46 p.m. Friday – U.S. 31 and Declaration Drive. Edwin Cuateconzi Fuentes, 24, Indianapolis. Cuateconzi Fuentes reported having an abrasion with injury to his face.

3:45 p.m. Friday – Wheatcraft Way and County Line Road. Christine Hardy, 46, Greenwood. Hardy reported having pain and injury to her neck.

1:26 p.m. Saturday – U.S. 31 N. and Loews Blvd.

Thefts

1000 block of Bexley Drive: Reported at 1:26 p.m. Monday that a vehicle theft had occurred.

300 block of Elmead Court: Reported at 8:53 a.m. Monday a theft from a vehicle had occurred.

Battery

2600 Cumberland Drive, Franklin High School, Franklin: Reported at 9:46 a.m. Monday that a battery and disorderly conduct had occurred involving three juveniles.

Indecent Exposure

1000 block of Corral Court, Greenwood: Reported at 4:47 p.m. Monday that a indecent exposure had occurred.

Christopher Charles Joseph Kantmann Jr., 19, Needham; arrested on charges of unlawful carrying of a handgun with prior conviction, dealing marijuana/hashish/salvia, possession of hypodermic syringe or needle, possession of cocaine or narcotic drug and wanted on a Johnson County warrant; held on $60,400 bond.

Joshua D. Giokas, 43, Indianapolis; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; held without bond.

Ramon Lamar Woods, 39, Indianapolis; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; released on $350 bond.

Nathaniel Michael Ford, 23, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of probation violation; held on $500 bond.

Christian Robert Gage Fields, 25, Franklin; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $405 bond.

Fanel Jean Baptiste, 26, W. Palm Beach, Florida; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; released on $300 bond.

Nathan M. Horner, 32, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of possession of cocaine or narcotic drug; held on $2,400 bond.

Roger Dale Hatmaker Jr., 47, Franklin; arrested on charges of domestic battery knowing in the presence of a child, aggravated strangulation, disorderly conduct and public intoxication by alcohol/drugs; bond information unavailable.

David Castillo, 45, Franklin; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; released on $300 bond.

Edinson Colmenares, 30, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle without ever obtaining a license; released on $250 bond.

Jeremy Jon Earl, 36, Indianapolis; arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and driving while suspended with prior suspension; held on $3,200 bond.
