Franklin

Hit and Run

377 E. Jefferson St., Bojaks: A woman reported at 1:51 a.m. Saturday that when she was picking up her friend, when a red vehicle backed into her, injured her friend and then the vehicle took off. The driver was later found and arrested for leaving the scene of property damage accident.

3:53 p.m. Friday – 2100 block of Galaxy Drive

Thefts

400 E. Jefferson St., Phillips 66: The owner reported at 1:12 p.m. Monday that juveniles had attempted to steal items and flee the store.

2390 N. Morton St., Meijer: Asset protection employee reported at 2:26 a.m. Sunday that a woman had been in the store for a total of 15 hours until he stopped her in the vestibule with stolen merchandise.

Battery

411 S. Madison Ave., Greenwood Fieldhouse: Reported at 8:12 p.m. Monday that one juvenile was arrested for battery with injury and then released to parents.

Criminal Mischief

622 N. Madison Ave., Storm Chiropractic Clinic: Reported at 11:59 a.m. Monday that three windows were vandalized on the property.

1300 block of Vicksburg S. Drive: Reported at 11:25 a.m. Monday that damage to mailboxes had occurred.

1000 block of Vicksburg S. Drive: Reported at 11:06 a.m. Monday that damage to mailboxes had occurred.

Fraud

1000 block of Blue Heron Lane: Reported at 2:12 a.m. Monday that a fraud had occurred.

Narcotics

Westminster Row and Parliament Place: Reported at 1:18 a.m. Monday that a man was arrested for the possession of marijuana.

3:55 p.m. Friday – E. Main St. and N. Emerson Ave.

3:44 p.m. Friday – State Road 135 and Olive Branch Road

3:22 p.m. Friday – Smith Valley Road and Library Park Drive

Robbery

40 block of Eastridge Drive: Reported at 8:51 p.m. Saturday that an attempted robbery of a person had occurred.

Thefts

355 Fry Road, Extra Space Storage: Reported at 5:36 p.m. Monday the theft from a building had occurred.

5961 N. State Road 135, Kroger Marketplace: Reported at 8:44 a.m. Monday that a theft had occurred.

330 U.S. 31 S., Three Wide Motor Sports: Reported at 1:46 p.m. Sunday the theft of a vehicle had occurred.

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 6:40 p.m. Saturday that a man was arrested for theft with prior conviction had occurred.

40 block of Crestview Drive: Reported at 3:47 p.m. Saturday the theft of a bicycle from the garage of a residence had occurred.

Criminal Mischief

8000 block of E. 21 St., Indianapolis: Reported at 8:42 p.m. Saturday that criminal mischief had occurred.

Hit and Run

5000 block of S. County Road 50 W., Trafalgar: A man reported at 3:14 p.m. Saturday that Amazon driver pulled past the end of the pavement and ran into a hose hydrant, causing it to bend and potentially break underground. The driver blamed it on the snow and left the scene before police arrived.

Narcotics

1071 Hospital Road, Community Corrections, Franklin: A officer reported at 6:13 p.m. Friday that while searching the belongings of a man returning to the work release program facility, narcotics were found. He was later arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of controlled substance-schedule IV.

Ransom Jon Davis, 34, Franklin; arrested on a charge of habitual traffic violator; held on $2,400 bond.

Yarlis J. Castro, 25, Bargersville; arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle without ever obtaining a license; released on $250 bond.

Zachary J. Maddox, 35, Nineveh; arrested on a charge of domestic battery; held on $250 bond.

Michael A. Kivett, 41, Franklin; arrested on charges of dealing methamphetamine, dealing marijuana/hashish/salvia and possession of paraphernalia; held on $8,050 bond.

Josephine Marie Nitschke, 19, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated; held on $250 bond.

Brandon Lee Gibson, 28, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with prior suspension; held on $2,000 bond.
