Fraud
1 W. Jefferson St., Toodleydoo Toys: The owner reported at 3:41 p.m. Thursday that she received a phone call from a man claiming to be a Duke Energy employee who advised her that her electric bill was past due. The man asked her to quickly make a payment using Zelle and after she said no, he advised her to go to CVS a scan gift cards and make a payment, she realized it was a scam.
700 block of Five Points Drive: A woman reported at 2:24 p.m. Thursday that a family member was sending money to people who were pretending to be movie stars and scamming the family member out of money.
Personal-injury accident
9:19 a.m. Thursday – Commerce Parkway and Graham Road. Anastasia Ellison, 21, Shelbyville. Ellison reported having minor bleeding with injury to her elbow/lower arm.

Theft
970 N. Morton St., Kroger Marketplace: Loss prevention employee reported at 1:41 p.m. Thursday that a woman had put multiple liquor bottles in her purse and exited the store, the employee was able to stop her before she made it to her vehicle, the woman was trespassed from the store and arrested for theft and transported to the jail.

1251 U.S. 31 N., Akira: Reported at 6:46 p.m. Thursday the battery on a employee had occurred.
Hit and Run
E. County Line Road and Airport Parkway: Reported at 4:09 p.m. Thursday that a hit and run had occurred.
1280 U.S. 31 N., Sports Clips: A woman reported at 11:06 a.m. Thursday that a vehicle hit her vehicle and then proceeded to leave the scene without exchanging any information.
Narcotics
Fry Road and Meadowview Lane: Reported at 11:14 p.m. Thursday that a man was arrested and released with a summons to appear for the charges of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

8:06 p.m. Wednesday – U.S. 31 and Woodlawn Drive. Shannon Ventura, 37, Franklin. Ventura reported having pain and injury to her abdomen/pelvis.
8:55 p.m. Tuesday – 700 block of Howard Road. Eduardo Castro, 22, Greenwood. Castro reported having an abrasion with injury to his shoulder/upper arm.
