Criminal Mischief

87 Forest Road, NGroup: A woman reported at 2:43 a.m. Monday that three of her tires had been punctured and company video footage shows someone puncturing the tires on her vehicle and fleeing the area.

100 block of W. King St.: A woman reported at 2:14 p.m. Friday that someone had vandalized a tire on her vehicle by puncturing it.

Property-damage accidents

Thefts

90 block of N. Water St.: A man reported at 8:42 p.m. Sunday that his unlocked vehicle had been broken into and his backpack had been stolen.

2125 N. Morton St., Walmart: Loss prevention employee reported at 2:15 p.m. Sunday that a woman was scanning items with a barcode that belonged to different items, so to reduce the cost. The stolen items were found to be around $400 and the woman was arrested for theft with prior conviction, trespassed from the store and transported to jail.

2125 N. Morton St., Walmart: Loss prevention employee reported at 4:58 p.m. Saturday that a woman had stolen around $97 worth of items by skip-scanning, she was issued a summons for theft and trespassed from the store.

4000 block of Fairoaks Drive: Reported at 4:37 p.m. Saturday that a theft had occurred.

887 E. Main St., Intown Suites: Reported at 2:58 p.m. Saturday that a woman was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession paraphernalia.

1251 U.S. 31 N., Dave and Busters: Reported at 9:36 p.m. Sunday that a theft had occurred.

150 Marlin Drive, Meijer: Reported at 1:44 p.m. Sunday that a theft had occurred.

1251 U.S. 31 N., Sephora: Reported at 6:09 p.m. Saturday that a theft had occurred.

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 5:58 p.m. Saturday that someone was issued a summons for theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 3:02 p.m. Saturday that a man was arrested for theft and a woman was arrested for criminal trespassing and theft.

Narcotics

Fry Road and N. State Road 135, Greenwood: A deputy reported at 2:14 a.m. Sunday that during a traffic stop for speeding he could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver’s breath. After a search of the vehicle narcotics were located and the driver was arrested on several drug charges, driving while intoxicated and several other charges.

Willshire Drive and Olive Branch Road, Greenwood: A deputy reported at 2:25 a.m. Saturday that a vehicle fled when he had activated his lights and siren. After the vehicle was stopped and the deputy detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver was arrested for possession of marijuana and resisting law enforcement with a vehicle and that passenger was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.

Westview Drive and Whispering Way, Franklin: A deputy reported at 8:34 p.m. Friday that during a traffic stop for not having a working license plate light, he detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. After a search of the vehicle a marijuana blunt was located and the driver was arrested for possession of marijuana.

N. Morgantown Road and W. Scott Drive, Greenwood: A deputy reported at 5 p.m. Friday that during a traffic stop for speeding he detected the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and after a search of the vehicle marijuana and paraphernalia were located. The driver was issued a ticket for no valid driver’s license and a warning for speeding and the passenger was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.

625 Grizzly Cub Drive, Franklin Middle School, Franklin: Reported at 3:19 p.m. Friday that a juvenile was caught with a THC vape device that tested positive for marijuana.

Thefts

1000 block of E. County Road 500 N., Whiteland: A man reported at 12:13 p.m. Sunday that two barrels of metal scrap were stolen from his property.

N. County Road 575 W. and County Road 200 N., Bargersville: Reported at 6:12 p.m. Saturday the theft of a stop sign had occurred.

300 block of Melrose Lane, Greenwood: A man reported at 6:46 p.m. Friday that two pistols were stolen from the center console of his vehicle.
