Fry Road and Kings Mill Road: Reported at 8:25 p.m. Thursday that someone was issued a summons to appear for possession of marijuana.
Thefts
1251 U.S. 31 N., Macy’s: Reported at 2:20 p.m. Thursday that a theft had occurred.
860 U.S. 31 S., Rural King: Reported at 10:53 a.m. Thursday that a theft had occurred.
900 block of Albans Court: Reported at 9:11 a.m. Thursday that a theft had occurred.
794 U.S. 31 N., Budget Truck Store: Reported at 8:26 a.m. Thursday the theft of a vehicle had occurred.
Johnson County
Narcotics
W. Smith Valley Road and S. Morgantown Road, Greenwood: A officer reported at 1:49 a.m. Friday that during a traffic stop for speeding he detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. After a search of the vehicle bags of marijuana and a handgun were located, the driver was arrested for possession of marijuana, driving while suspended with prior suspension and issued a ticket for speeding.
