Burglary

1729 U.S. 31 S.: Reported at 10:06 a.m. Tuesday that a burglary had occurred.

Criminal Mischief

355 Fry Road, Extra Space Storage: Reported at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday that six storage units were forced open.

Fraud

700 U.S. 31 S., Walgreens: Reported at 12:57 p.m. Tuesday that a fraud had occurred.

1251 U.S. 31 N., Pandora: Reported at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday that a fraud had occurred.

Personal-injury crash

11:41 a.m. Monday – County Line Road and Emerson Ave. A man reported having pain an injury to his back. A woman reported having pain and injury to her chest. A woman reported having pain an injury to her neck.

Property-damage crashes

7:40 p.m. Monday – Smith Valley Road and Yorktown Road

2:02 p.m. Monday – Fry Road and Colonial Way

11:16 a.m. Monday – Providence Drive and E. Worthsville Road

12:10 p.m. Sunday – Emerson Ave. and S. Park Drive

9:39 p.m. Thursday – Smith Valley Road and Madison Ave.

Thefts

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 5:58 p.m. Tuesday that someone was issued a summons for theft, operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license and a man was issued a summons for theft.

1000 N. Madison Ave., Dollar General: Reported at 4:44 p.m. Tuesday that shoplifting had occurred.

Johnson County

Narcotics

I-69 N. at mile marker 157, Greenwood: A officer reported at 6:02 p.m. Tuesday that during a traffic stop for speeding he could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle and handed it to the officer. She was issued a citation for speeding and a summons for possession of marijuana.

Thefts

1285 N. State Road 135, Salvation Army, Greenwood: A officer reported at 10:02 p.m. Tuesday that while patrolling the area he observed a white vehicle parked in front of the store. He watched a woman grab a large black trash bag out of the donation pile and threw it in the bed of the vehicle. The woman was arrested for theft with prior convictions.

3129 E. Edinburgh St., Atterbury Job Corp., Edinburgh: A employee reported at 8:31 a.m. Tuesday that two Chromebooks were taken from the facility when two students were released from the program.

Dane Lyle Bandy, 36, Trafalgar; arrested on a charge of domestic battery knowing in the presence of a child; held on $1,200 bond.

Cody A. Sturdivant, 25, Greenwood; arrested on charges of domestic battery knowing in the presence of a child and strangulation; held on $2,400 bond.

Hayden Anakin Hawkins, 19, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of probation violation; held without bond.

William Earl Shepherd, 61, Greenwood; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; released on $1,000 bond.

Alberto I. Diaz, 42, Franklin; arrested on a charge of probation violation; held without bond.

Natasha Renee Barker, 34, Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of theft from a building with prior conviction; released on $1,200 bond.

Dee Raymond Wert, 56, Indianapolis; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; released on $500 bond.

Bernard E. Kenner, 48, New Whiteland; arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated; held on $1,000 bond.
