The Indiana State Police is hosting a special recruiting event Saturday in Greenwood.
People will have a chance to work with an Indiana State Trooper from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at Anytime Fitness, 997 E. County Line Road, Greenwood. No membership is required to take part, state police say.
The event is designed for people to be able to see what it takes to be a trooper. If someone is not sure the agency is for them, they can also come to the event and ask questions to state troopers, according to ISP.
