Greenwood Parks and Recreation is hosting a tree giveaway April 26 with 1,000 trees up for grabs.
Trees will be given away beginning at 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or until all trees are gone.
Trees available are pecan, redbud, river birch, black cherry and silver maple.
Trees can be picked up at Craig Park Shelter and the Greenwood City Center, 300 S. Madison Ave.
