Franklin College announces awards
Franklin College senior Elementary Education student teachers, Emma Moore and Gracie True each received an Outstanding Future Educator Award presented by the Indiana Association of Colleges for Teacher Education.
Also the art department will celebrate the work of its spring semester art students with an art exhibit reception and awards presentation at 6:30 p.m. on May 6. The event will be held in the Elba L. and Gene Portteus Branigin Atrium on the first floor of the Johnson Center for Fine Arts.
The reception and awards ceremony are free and open to the public. Students from all levels of studio art classes will display a selection of their work completed during the semester. Select pieces will also be available for purchase.
