Final GOP Indiana governor debate Tuesday night

The six candidates for the Republican gubernatorial nomination will debate.

The final debate of the primary election season will take place before a live audience from 7-8:30 p.m. at Hine Hall Auditorium on the IUPUI campus, 875 W. North St., Indianapolis. Jon Schwantes, host of PBS’s “Indiana Lawmakers,” will moderate. The debate allows voters to pose questions and is sponsored by the Indiana Debate Commission.

Candidates U.S. Sen. Mike Braun; Brad Chambers, former president of the Indiana Economic Development Corp. under Gov. Eric Holcomb; Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch; Eric Doden, former president of the Indiana Economic Development Corp. under Gov. Mike Pence; former Attorney General Curtis Hill; and Jamie Reitenour have all agreed to take part.

The debate commission announced Monday Braun may not be able to attend due to a vote he is scheduled to take in Washington, D.C.
