Warriors hold off Artesians
Whiteland edged Martinsville, 6-5, for a home win on Thursday. Maddy Myers drove in four runs on two hits for the Warriors, while winning pitcher Kiley Sullivan went 3 for 4.
Lancers get first victory
Edinburgh got into the win column by rallying for an 11-8 victory over Morristown. Kenna Streeval, Gracie Barrett and Kyah Streeval each had three hits for the Lancers, who got two RBIs apiece from Eloise Cox, Lexi Riley, Lillie Goff and Elizabeth Richardson Hernandez.
Braves edge Northview
Delaney Jones pitched a four-hitter and struck out 11 to help Indian Creek to a 3-2 victory over Northview. Addi Schaub and Alli Gavin had sixth-inning RBIs to put the Braves (7-5) in front for good.
Woodmen fall to Falcons
Finishing up a game that was suspended due to rain earlier in the week, Greenwood wound up on the losing end of an 18-14 score against Perry Meridian. Emma Chism and Lillian Disney each drove in three runs for the Woodmen.

Whiteland gains home win
Whiteland took advantage of four Martinsville errors to claim a 5-2 victory on Thursday. Peyton Dickens had a pair of RBIs for the Warriors.
Edinburgh shuts out Morristown
Gabe Bennett yielded just two hits while going the distance in Edinburgh’s 8-0 triumph over Morristown. Brayden Schoettmer was 3 for 3 with three runs scored for the Lancers.

Greenwood boys, girls take second
Greenwood finished second behind Plainfield in a four-way meet on Thursday. The Woodmen girls won the 4×800 relay and got individual victories from Emma Gardner (discus and shot put), Makena Cruse (800) Lilly Rollings (3,200) Amy Luttrell (pole vault), For the boys, William Riley (100), Sam Grimes (3,200), Brayden Hafen (pole vault) and both the 4×800 and 4×100 relay teams finished first.
Girls tennis
Warriors blank Martinsville
Whiteland was a 5-0 winner over Martinsville on Thursday. Candace Stephenson, Rowen Starns and Taylor Darnell were singles winners for the Warriors (5-9), Cathy Nguyen and Kinsey Shipp won at first doubles and Karley Hoagland and Namjeet Kaur picked up a point at second doubles.
Boys volleyball
Whiteland tops New Pal in four
Whiteland earned a 25-15, 23-25, 25-20, 25-23 victory over New Palestine on Thursday, improving to 15-12 on the year.
