GREENWOOD
Donald Richard McComb, 75, of Greenwood, passed away on May 8, 2024. He was born on February 5, 1949 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Donald E. and Roselyn G. (Stark) McComb.
Don was a member of Greenwood Christian Church. He graduated from Franklin College in 1971 where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha. Don later served on the Board of Trustees at Franklin College. He co-owned McComb Window and Door (Pella Windows) with his brother for 45 years, retiring in 2017.
Don is survived by his wife of 52 years, Vicki (Fulmer) McComb; son, Mike (Jenni) McComb; grandsons, Ethan and Max McComb, brother, Bill (Christine) McComb, nieces Stephanie (Nacho) Sosa and Elizabeth (James) Outzs.
Don enjoyed watching his grandsons’ sporting events, Butler basketball, Indianapolis Colts, and was a lifelong fan of The Andy Griffith Show.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN.
Don will be laid to rest in The Gardens at Olive Branch Cemetery &Mausoleum Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood Christian Church-Operation Care or Franklin College.
