GREENWOOD, IN.
Robert E. “Bob” “Bobby” Massinon, 66 of Greenwood, IN passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024.
He was born December 2, 1957, in Brazil, Indiana to Robert “Pete” Massinon and Linda Lou (Hawkins) Lumsdon. He married Karen S. (Clay) Massinon on February 7, 1997, in Greenwood, IN, she survives.
Bob was a 1976 graduate of Franklin Community High School.
He had been a sales associate for Sign Solutions in Greenwood, IN for 15 years before retiring.
Bob was a member of Hoosier Harvest Church in Martinsville, IN. He enjoyed camping at Clay Lake in Morgan County, campfires and especially spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends. In the past, he was active in running, racquetball, playing golf, tennis and line dancing. Bob enjoyed playing games especially euchre and dominoes. He was a real jokester, always had a big smile and lived life to the fullest.
Survivors include his wife Karen S. (Clay) Massinon of Greenwood, IN, his children Jennifer Robertson (Matt) of Franklin, IN, Amy Inabnitt (Jason) of Bargersville, IN, Mike Satter (Jennie) of Morgantown, IN and Shelly Weber (Dave) of Morgantown, IN, his seven grandchildren Keelie Satter (fiance Michael Perkins), Blake Satter, Calvin Weber, Hailey Robertson, Bryant Robertson, Jacob Inabnitt and Jonathan Inabnitt, his brothers Anton “Tony” Massinon (Glenda) of North Port, FL and Eric “Ricky” Massinon (Robin) of Franklin, IN, his sisters Jailynn Dorsey (Rod) of Franklin, IN and Lisa Thompson (Jeff) of Franklin, IN, an aunt Bonnie McArther of Las Vegas, NV, sister-in-laws Karen Clay of Morgantown, IN and Betty Harbin and brother-in-law Jack Harbin of Martinsville, IN, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert “Pete” Massinon and stepmother Lois Ann (Wetli) Massinon, mother Linda Lou (Hawkins) Lumsdon, stepfather Ken Lumsdon and brother-in-law Bill Clay, father-in-law and mother-in-law Edgar Clay and Clarice (Buck) Clay.
Pastor Chris Page will conduct a service on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/robertmassinon. Friends may call Monday, June 10, 2024, from 4PM until 8PM at the mortuary. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown, IN.
