Judith A. Hohlt

GREENWOOD

Judith A. Hohlt, 85, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024. She was a resident of Greenwood, and a former resident of Indianapolis.

She was born December 4, 1938, in Lafayette, IN to Robert and Clara Francis Binz. She married Dr. William Hohlt on November 29, 2009.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. William Hohlt of Greenwood; son, Erich Rose of Indianapolis; two daughters, Kristel (Steven) Kearney of Rye, New York, and Melody (Andrew) Nussbaum of Louisville, KY; stepchildren, Ann Broecker, Eric W. Hohlt, James A. Hohlt, and Heather L. Tapak; and several grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

She was a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, where she studied English, Education, and Business.

While at IU, she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She later attended UCLA to work on her Master’s Degree.

Judi was employed by her husband’s Grip equipment rental company in L.A. California which worked with major motion pictures studios making block buster motion pictures such as God Father 2, Tootsie, and the Fugitive.

She was a member of Sts. Francis and Clare Catholic Church in Greenwood.

Calling will take place from 10-12 Noon, Saturday, June 15, at Sts. Francis and Clare Catholic Church, 5901 Olive Branch Road, Greenwood. Rev. Steve Giannini will officiate a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 12 Noon at the church. There will be a private interment at Washington Park East Cemetery on Monday, June 17, 2024.
