A Columbus-based hotel developer has opened a new southside hotel.
Hampton Inn & Suites Indianapolis South/Greenwood opened Friday at 5249 Claybrooke Commons Drive, Indianapolis. The hotel is on the north side of County Line Road, so it has access to Interstate 65, the Indy South Municipal Airport, the Greenwood Park Mall, and numerous restaurants and sports facilities, according to a press release.
It is a five-story, 100-room hotel developed, owned and operated by Sprague Hotel Developers and designed for “today’s travelers.”

Rooms come standard with extra charging options, mini fridge, microwave and easy access to streaming services. The hotel features a complimentary daily breakfast, a fitness center, an indoor heated saline pool, onsite guest laundry and meeting space for up to 40 people, according to the company.
The hotel also has an EV charging station, digital key and pet-friendly rooms, the hotel’s website shows.

The hotel also offers 33 studio suites for guests planning an extended stay or just wanting additional space to stretch out. The studio suite comes with added amenities including sofa bed, wet bar and spacious desk, the hotel’s website shows.
