Local farmers can learn tips on how to transition their family’s farm to the next generation.
Registration is now open for Indiana Agricultural Law Foundation’s Estate and Succession Planning for the Family Farm workshop. The free virtual workshop is open to anyone interested in understanding the importance of estate and succession planning to their business. Attendees also will have time to ask questions after each presentation.
The annual program will be held via virtual webcast on July 19 from 9 a.m. to noon. The webinar is free for all attendees.
The session topics include: the basics-farm succession planning; hot topics in farm estate planning; protecting your family’s inheritance from long-term care costs; marriage and protecting farm assets.
