GREENWOOD
Vivian Williams, 77, of Greenwood Indiana, passed away on June 8, 2024 surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born July 1, 1946 in Whiteland, IN to the late Amel and Ada Burdine.
Vivian enjoyed watching, and later on listening to her grandchildren play baseball and basketball. She enjoyed gardening and teaching her grand boys about the birds as they sat and watched them on the feeders in the yard.
Vivian enjoyed listening to her gospel music and teachings of Jesus Christ. Vivian and Oscar are the Charter (Founding) Members of Liberty Baptist Church in Indianapolis.
Vivian is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Oscar Williams; son, Robbie (Nicole) Williams; grandsons, Xavier and Zander Williams; many nieces, nephews, and greats.
She was preceded in death by her grandson Yael Williams; parents, Amel and Ada Burdine, Benson Fearl Burdine, Elsie Clareen Richardson,William Bearl Burdine, Mary Josephine Turner, Gerald Burdine, Jerry Frances Burdine.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home and Cremation Center at The Gardens of Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 11:30 am with additional visitation an hour prior at the funeral home.
Vivian will be laid to rest in Mount Pleasant Greenwood Cemetery.
