FRANKLIN
Kathy Buckner Murray, 66 of Franklin, passed away June 12, 2024.
She was born June 18, 1957 in Franklin, Indiana to Keith and Kathleen (Lee) Buckner.
Kathy was a 1976 graduate of Indian Creek High School.
She married Bob Murray in 1988. He preceded her in death.
She grew up in Trafalgar always riding bikes, playing basketball, football and baseball with her nieces and nephews.
She had a passion for the Indianapolis Colts. She enjoyed playing cards and working crossword puzzles. Kathy also had a great love for Elvis Presley music.
Over the years, she worked in factories in Franklin.
Kathy was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, her husband and siblings, Sandy Buckner Walker, Steve Buckner, and Fred Buckner; Aunts and Uncles along with a niece Shannon Buckner and a nephew Tim Burke.
Kathy is survived by her loving brother, Jimmie Buckner and sister Nancy Burke, along with nieces and nephews, Debbie Hamilton, Brigette Burke, Kim Hourigan, Scott Coy, Todd Burke, Rick Coy, Justin Buckner and Troy Buckner. Also surviving are several great nieces and nephews and several great, great nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Kathy will be at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a service commencing at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at First Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Franklin, Indiana.
