It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of my beloved mother, Janet L. Perkins, who left us on June 11, 2024 at the age of 75, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Janet was a 1967 graduate of Franklin Community High School and attended Vincennes University. She was a woman of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with her loved ones. Her unwavering spirit will forever be remembered.
Survivors include her daughter, Velissa Perkins, grandchildren Jacob Hall, Dezarae (Pablo) Torres, Cieairra (Thomas) Aiello, and Kenzie (Logan) Sparks, Great-grandchildren Zander, Kylie, Scarlett, Collbie, Elijah, Abby and Gabe, sister Marcella (David) Rush and brothers James R. Jones and Robert Jones, and her closest, dearest friend Paulette Koser who will all continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents James E. and Margaret Lousie Jones and brother Roger Jones.
