An injured kayaker was rescued by firefighters over the weekend at Camp Atterbury.
The Bargersville Community Fire Department Rope Rescue squad conducted a low angle rope rescue with the Nineveh Fire Department on Saturday afternoon. The rescue involved an injured kayaker near Sugar Creek in Camp Atterbury, according to a Facebook post from Bargersville Fire.
The kayaker, a male, was in good condition and transported to a nearby hospital, fire officials said.
