The Center Grove Community School Corporation Board of Trustees is seeking candidates who are interested in filling a vacant position on the board.
The appointed candidate would serve on the board until December 31, 2026. The seat is open following the death of Gary Robinson.
Interested parties are requested to submit a letter of interest stating their qualifications and their reason for wishing to be on the board to President Amy Counts. The information must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. on June 28. Information may be submitted to [email protected] or hand delivered to the Superintendent’s Office, located at 4800 W Stones Crossing Road.
To be eligible, interested parties must be 21 years of age, be a registered voter, reside in the School Corporation for at least one year and be a high school graduate.
The board will fill the vacancy by a majority vote. The board anticipates appointing a replacement by July 10. The new board member would begin their term immediately.
