Whiteland will be hosting a community workshop for its comprehensive plan from 5:30 to 7 p.m. today.
The event will take place at the Nire Event Center at 740 Main St., Whiteland.
The comprehensive plan is a community-wide strategic plan between town leadership and staff, municipal departments, nonprofits, local businesses, emergency services, utility providers and the broader community to guide future growth and development, the town said on social media.
The town is also conducting a survey for the new plan. Residents are asked to fill out the survey online via Survey Monkey by going to shorturl.at/0QH5P.
By attending the meeting and filling out the survey, residents can contribute to the town’s future by sharing their thoughts on land use, growth, infrastructure, public safety and more. Resident feedback will help shape the plan.
