Chelsea Davis holding State of Indiana Hard Working Hoosier Award. The award was created by Indiana State Representative Michelle Davis to help shine a light on those who are making a positive difference and formally recognize them.
Johnson County Sheriff Duane Burgess along with his wife Dee Ann Burgess and State Representative Michelle Davis, surprised Chelsea Davis at Chic-fil-A in Greenwood with a Hardworking Hoosier Award.
Chelsea Davis has worked at Chic-fil-A for almost three years and is very active coaching various Special Olympics athletic teams and also works part time at Hope Gallery Boutique in Bargersville. Her mother, Linda Boothe, was there to support her.
Both Chelsea Davis and her fellow workers were very surprised when she was presented with the award. She is another example of a “Hardworking Hoosier.” The award was created by Michelle Davis in 2021 to help shine a light on those who are making a positive difference and formally recognize them.
Michelle Davis, a Republican from Whiteland, represents House District 58, which includes a portion of Johnson County.
