GREENWOOD
Richard L. Harper, 71, of Greenwood, Indiana and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on July 3, 2024, after several months of health issues. He was born February 27, 1953, in Watseka, IL to James and Dorothy (Miller) Harper.
He was a 1971 graduate of Donovan High School in Donovan, Illinois.
Richard was a sales associate for B &B Food Distributors for almost 20 years before his retirement earlier this year.
Richard is survived by his loving wife Carolyn (Allen); daughter, Rhiannon Stanfield (Eric) of Whitestown; stepdaughter, Robin McWilliams Munson (Ken) of Greenwood; stepson, Geoffrey McWilliams (Julie) of St Louis, MO; and nine grandchildren: Ryanne, Tyler, Sydney and Rylee Stanfield; Quinn, Gavin and Mae Munson; and Addison and Ezekiel McWilliams. He is also survived by two sisters, Delores Lane (Bob) of Debary, FL and Gloria (Steve) Boling of Crescent City, IL along with several nieces.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Wilson St. Pierre Family Funeral and Crematory, 481 W. Main St., Greenwood, IN 46143. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
