Franklin

Fraud

1070 W. Jefferson St., Otterbein: A man reported at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday that money was missing from his Walmart gift card and he did not give anyone permission to use it.

Personal-injury crash

5:14 p.m. Wednesday — U.S. 31 and Nicole Drive. Two children reported having pain and injury to their chests.

Thefts

970 N. Morton St., Kroger: A manager reported at 1 p.m. Wednesday that a woman was caught drinking alcohol while shopping in the store, skip scanning and concealing items in her bag. An officer confronted her and found 17 items had been taken from the store without paying for them. The woman was issued a summons for theft and trespassed from the store.

1000 block of Younce St.: A man reported at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday that he believes his ex-girlfriend had used his bank account to pay bills without his permission.

Greenwood

Forgery/Counterfeiting

349 S. Washington St., Greenwood BMV Branch: Reported at 11:05 a.m. Wednesday that a woman had attempted to use a fake $100 bill.

Fraud

1000 block of Kay Drive: Reported at 3:59 p.m. Wednesday that a fraud had occurred.

500 block of W. Smith Valley Road: Reported at 11:31 a.m. Wednesday that a fraud had occurred.

Hit and Run

305 Chaney Ave., Amazon: Reported at 7:55 a.m. Thursday that a hit and run had occurred.

S. Graham Road and Allen Road: Reported at 7:36 a.m. Thursday that a hit and run had occurred.

Personal-injury crash

9:25 p.m. Saturday — Madison Ave. and Smith Valley Road. A woman, 53, reported having pain and injury to her shoulder/upper arm.

Property-damage crashes

3:06 p.m. Tuesday — U.S. 31 and Main St.

2:10 p.m. Tuesday — State Road 135 and Library Blvd.

Johnson County

Hit and Run

S. Lakehurst Drive and W. State Road 44, Franklin: A home owner reported at 3:59 p.m. Wednesday that a white van had struck a power pole and left the scene. The driver was later located and was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident and operating a vehicle while never receiving a license.

Narcotics

W. Fairview Road and Innisbrooke Ave., Greenwood: An officer reported at 10:18 a.m. Wednesday that during a traffic stop for an expired license plate he notices a dispensary package of marijuana in a fanny pack the driver was looking through to find his ID. After a search, marijuana and a bong were located and the driver was issued a summons for possession of marijuana, a summons for possession of paraphernalia, a citation for driving while suspended and a warning for the expired plates.
