Daytime closures are planned next week at the railroad crossing on Fairview Road.
Koppers Railroad Structures, a contractor for Indiana Railroad Company, will be closing the crossing to complete maintenance work on the railroad bridge over Fairview Road, according to the Johnson County Highway Department.
The closures will occur from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Thursday. The crossing on Fairview Road is just west of Leisure Lane and East of Green Hills Court.
To get around the closure, area drivers should use the designated detour route of State Road 135, Smith Valley Road and Peterman Road to bypass the intersection closure, county highway officials say.
