The Johnson County 4-H and Agriculture Fair continues today in Franklin.

Here is a look at some of Thursday’s highlights:

Family Fun Zone

When: All day

Where: East of Fitzpatrick Hall

Petting Zoo with Barnyard Party Pals

When: All day

Where: North of Shooting Sports

4-H Contests

When: 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. today

What: 9 a.m. — Horse and Pony Versatility; Mini 4-H Swine Show. 10 a.m. — Mini 4-H Sheep Show (30 minutes after end of Swine Show). 11 a.m. — 4-H and FFA Judging Contest (all species). 4 p.m. — Master Showmanship Contest. 7 p.m. — Horse and Pony Fun Show.

4-H Open Class Exhibits Open

When: 11 a.m.

Axe Throwing

When: 3 pm.

Where: Northeast corner of Herring Hall

Moonlight Madness — Poor Jack Amusements

When: 6-11 p.m., weather permitting

Where: Midway

Cost: $35 for an Unlimited Ride Bracelet

Straw Scramble

Who: Kids ages 3-10, with four classes. Limited to the first 30 kids entered in each class.

When: 7 p.m.
