One person is confirmed to have died in the fatal crash in Greenwood late Friday night.
The person who died was on a motorcycle, said Matt Fillenwarth, Greenwood’s assistant chief of police.
Accident investigators and detectives are on the scene investigating, Fillenwarth said.

A fatal vehicle crash closed part of U.S. 31 in Greenwood late Friday night.
The Greenwood Police Department is investigating the fatal crash, which occurred at the intersection of U.S. 31 and Main Street. All northbound and southbound lanes of U.S. 31 are closed, the Greenwood Fire Department said in a 11 p.m. Facebook post.
Drivers are encouraged to seek an alternate route, the post says.
Agencies that responded include the White River Township Fire Department, Greenwood Fire and Greenwood Police.
