Aspire Johnson County is holding a community workshop on the “State of Housing” in Johnson County next month.
From 8:30 to 11 a.m. Aug. 6, attendees will hear presentations and have group discussion on housing in Johnson County. This includes an update from the MIBOR Realtor Association, a panel discussion on current housing data, trends and myths. Attendees will also learn about the newly formed Johnson County Housing Coalition, according to Aspire.
The workshop will take place in the Education and Conference Center at Indiana Wesleyan University, 1500 Windhorst Way, Greenwood.
General public tickets for the workshop are $20. Aspire members can attend for a discounted rate of $15. Registration includes light refreshments and workshop materials.
Registration closes at 5 p.m. Aug. 1. No refunds will be given within five days prior to the event, Aspire officials said.
