Local residents will have the opportunity to take in Parke County’s historic covered bridges during one of the biggest events in the state.
The John R. Drybread Community Center in Edinburgh will be sponsoring a luxury motor coach to the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival on Oct. 16. Participants will be visiting Bridgeton to enjoy vendors, entertainment, food and more.
The bus will depart from the Edinburgh Parks and Recreation headquarters, 722 S. Eisenhower Dr., at 8 a.m. and return at approximately 6 p.m.
The cost of the trip will be $50 which includes the bus, parking and driver gratuities. A minimum of 45 must be registered and paid by Aug. 16th for the trip to proceed.
