7 Brew to hold grand opening for new Greenwood coffee shop

A new 7 Brew Coffee will hold a grand opening this weekend in Greenwood.

The drive-thru coffee shop, 1120 N. State Road 135, will have a ribbon cutting at noon Friday with a special appearance from Indiana Fever mascot Freddy. They will also give out drinks for anyone who’d like to try them. Photos are also encouraged, company officials say.

On Saturday, 7 Brew will have a “Swag Day,” which is their official grand opening promotion day. Customers can buy any large drink and receive a custom 7 Brew T-shirt from 5:30 a.m. to close, while supplies last.

7 Brew’s drinks include the “7 Originals,” like the Smooth 7 — made up of white chocolate and Irish cream breve — and the German Chocolate — which has coconut and caramel mocha, and seasonal drinks like the Funnel Cake Macchiato. They also offer iced, hot or chilled classics like cold brews, lattes, caramel macchiatos and matcha lattes, along with teas, lemonades, smoothies and shakes, according to their menu.

7-Brew is not new to the southside. They have one location just over the county line in Indianapolis, 4604 E. County Line Road, and near the University of Indianapolis at 3710 S. East St.
