FRANKLIN
Carol A. Abel 78 years old of Franklin, Indiana passed away on July 19, 2024. She was born in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Edmund and Lucille (Nally) Abel.
Carol worked as a Payroll Specialist at Fort Benjamin Harrison for many years.
She is survived by her sister, Beverly Abel, her brother, Wallace (Jean) Abel, and her numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dolores J. (Abel) Waugh, and her brother, Edmund W. Abel.
Memorial Mass was held for her, and she was laid to rest at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Main Street Hospice for the excellent care and compassion shown to them during Carol’s last days.
